The Call of Spring 🌱

Dame-Nature is a sound art piece embodying the awakening of spring and the feminine power within the cycle of life. She takes the form of a young woman, majestic and graceful, standing tall, her long hair of stainless steel strings cascading to the ground like a waterfall.

Her dress is made of preserved lichen, lending the piece a living texture. This natural element evokes the tender moss that blankets the forest floor, breathing the softness and moisture of the season. Touching her dress is like feeling the earth beneath bare feet—dewy, soft, and full of life.

A Vibrational and Sensory Experience

Behind Dame-Nature, a bench is integrated into the installation, inviting visitors to sit and physically feel the vibration of the strings through their own bodies. Like the sap rising in trees come spring, this resonance flows through them, creating an intimate connection with the work, with nature, and with their own inner vitality.

More than an instrument, Dame-Nature is an encounter: a meeting between human and living world, sound and silence, movement and grounding. She embodies the archetype of the Spring Maiden, symbol of renewal and awakening creativity, engaged in a continuous dialogue between earth and water, the visible and the unseen.
